1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

• Full name, phone number, age, gender
• City, area, and saved addresses
• Profile photo (if provided)
• Cricket details (skill level, playing position, batting/bowling style)
• Professional details (service type, experience, pricing, availability)

1.2 Location Data

• GPS coordinates — only when you tap "Use Current Location" or update your address
• Saved addresses you add manually
• City and area for showing nearby professionals
• We do NOT track your location in the background

1.3 Booking & Payment Data

• Booking details (date, time, service type, amount)
• Payment transaction records via Cashfree
• START and END OTP verification records
• Session history and ratings
• Dispute and cancellation records

1.4 Communication Data

• Chat messages between players and professionals
• Community posts and comments
• Inbox messages including booking notifications
• Dispute chat messages

1.5 Device & Technical Data

• FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) token for push notifications
• Device type and operating system (Android/iOS)
• App version

1.6 Referral Data

• Invite codes used during registration
• Referral counts and reward status
• City Pioneer and Cricket Ambassador status

1.7 Report & Moderation Data

• Reports submitted through the app
• Account warnings and ban records (if applicable)

1.8 Financial Information (Professionals)

• Bank account number, IFSC code, and PAN — collected only from professionals who receive payouts
• Stored in a restricted, access-controlled collection used solely for processing payouts
• Never shared with other users or shown on your public profile

3. Information Sharing

3.1 Service Providers

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, FCM notifications — data stored in asia-south1 (Mumbai) region
• Cashfree Payments: Payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant) — we never store card details
• Geocoding APIs: Converting GPS coordinates to readable addresses

3.2 Other Users

• Your name and profile details are visible to users you interact with (bookings, chats)
• Your phone number is visible to professionals you book with
• Community posts are visible to all Cricco users
• Your average rating is visible on your professional profile

3.3 Admin Access

• Cricco admin (support@cricco.in) can access booking, report, and dispute data for moderation purposes
• Admin access is limited to resolving disputes, reviewing reports, processing payouts, and platform safety

3.4 Legal Requirements

• We may share data if required by Indian law or court order
• We may share data to protect rights, safety, or property of Cricco or its users

4. Location Data

• Location is captured only when you explicitly tap "Use Current Location" or update your address
• We do NOT track your location in the background
• Saved addresses are stored in Firestore under your account
• Location data is used only to show nearby professionals and calculate distances
• You can delete saved addresses anytime from the app

5. Payment Security

• All payments processed through Cashfree (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant)
• We do NOT store credit/debit card details on our servers
• Payment is held securely until session END OTP is verified
• All payment transactions are encrypted
• Refund processing handled through Cashfree within 5-7 business days

6. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data retained while account is active
• Booking records: Retained for 2 years for legal and dispute purposes
• Chat messages: Retained for 1 year
• Community posts: Retained until deleted by user or admin
• Account deletion: On request, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain
• Payment & financial records: Retained for 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations, even after account deletion

7. Push Notifications

• We send notifications for: booking confirmations, OTP alerts, payment releases, dispute updates, referral rewards
• You can opt out of notifications via your device settings
• Critical booking notifications (OTPs) cannot be fully disabled as they are essential for service

8. Children's Privacy

• Cricco is not intended for users under 18 years of age
• We do not knowingly collect data from minors
• If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact support@cricco.in

9. Data Security

• All data stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) with enterprise-grade security
• Firestore security rules restrict data access to authorized users only
• Financial information is held in a separate, access-restricted collection accessible only to server-side payout functions
• Phone OTP authentication prevents unauthorized account access
• Admin access protected by authenticated, privileged access controls
• All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption

10. Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update incorrect information in your profile
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting support@cricco.in; we process deletion within 30 days, subject to records we must legally retain (see Section 6)
• Portability: Request your data in a readable format
• Opt-out: Opt out of push notifications via device settings
• Appeal: Appeal account bans or moderation decisions

11. Referral Program Data

• When you use an invite code, we record who referred you
• Referral counts and reward status stored in your account
• City Pioneer and Ambassador status visible on your profile
• Reward shipping details (address) collected separately when claiming rewards
• Referral data used only for reward program administration

12. Cookies & Analytics

• The Cricco app does not use cookies
• The cricco.in website may use basic analytics to track page visits
• We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking
• Firebase Analytics may collect anonymous usage data to improve the app

13. Changes to This Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time
• Significant changes will be notified via app notification
• Continued use of Cricco after changes means acceptance of updated policy

14. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and their amendments. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Patna, Bihar, India.
